My Thoughts:
Geez...look at the name. Right away, you know these guys are dark. From San Diego, As I Lay Dying is
Metalcore/harcore at it's brutal and epic best. Superbly melodic at times, and then shifting to chaos and neck-snapping precision, you'll hear guitar that is unique and a voice that is suited for screaming and singing. I got their new CD, "Frail Words Collapse" and I must say that I am stunned. On the first song 94 Hours, listen to the drums. There is a part that I thought at first thought was a machine gun, no it's the drummer on the double bass pedal. Go get "Frail Words Collapse..."
