12/5 - Instant Lunch Reviews |
Guess what. This page has been redesigned and updated. Yeah, sounds unbelievable,
but there is good reason. Fan Mail. Yup. Thanks to SirKnight,
I don't have to make up some junk for a review, and can instead just use his criticsm for an update. To quote the
@0l h4x0r Calfox, "l33t."
Nissin Spicy Chicken in cup:
Cooking Directions: Fill water to line and add boiling water or place in
microwave on high until it almost boils over.
I used to boil water and then add but I've found the microwave works
just as well
Taste: 8/10
Addictiveness: 7/10
Value: 9/10
Final Score: 8/10
Maruchen Chicken or Beef in cup:
Cooking Directions: Fill water to line and add boiling water or place in
microwave on high until it almost boils over.
Never tried this type in microwave, but it probably works just fine.
Taste: 9/10 If only the meat wasn't dehydrated
Addictiveness: 10/10 (box of 24 doesn't last a week, so I buy two boxes,
one chicken, one beef)
Value: 10/10
Final Score: 10/10 Very good
Maruchen Chicken or Beef in package:
Cooking directions: Put two cups of water in pan and boil. Add noodles.
Wait 3 minutes. Add flavor package, mix, and eat. Don't even think of
microwave unless your stove doesn't work and you are desperate.
Taste: 8/10
Addictiveness: 9.5/10 (a good backup if you don't have any in the cup)
Value: 10/10 (You can buy these things CHEAP!)
Final Score: 9/10 just not the same as the cups
Maruchen Tomato or Chili in package:
Cooking directions: Put two cups of water in pan and boil. Add noodles.
Wait 3 minutes. Add flavor package, mix, and eat. Don't even think of
microwave unless your stove doesn't work and you are desperate.
Taste: -54/10
Addictiveness: (-10^43)/10
Value: -100/10
Final Score: -9999999999/10
I wouldn't wish this stuff on a homeless starving man who ate my dog which I
loved dearly because he was hungry.
Maruchen or Nissin Chicken Mushroom, Creamy Chicken, or any other
modification in package:
Cooking directions: Put two cups of water in pan and boil. Add noodles.
Wait 3 minutes. Add flavor package, mix, and eat. Don't even think of
microwave unless your stove doesn't work and you are desperate.
Taste: 5/10 not that good at all. Probably should be a 4 instead of 5
Addictiveness: 5/10
Value: 5/10 not worth your money
Final Score: 5/10 not really good. Use as last resort if you're out of
beef, chicken, or shrimp, and all you have left is tomato or chili.
Maruchen Shrimp in package:
Cooking directions: Put two cups of water in pan and boil. Add noodles.
Wait 3 minutes. Add flavor package, mix, and eat. Don't even think of
microwave unless your stove doesn't work and you are desperate.
Taste: 7/10 must aquire taste for this one
Addictiveness: 7/10
Value: 7/10
Final Score: 7/10
Smells sorta like pinesol cleaner after you add flavor packet. Better then
the modified chicken ones.
Maruchen Shrimp in cup:
Cooking Directions: Fill water to line and add boiling water or place in
microwave on high until it almost boils over.
Taste: 9/10
Addictiveness: 9/10
Value: 8/10 cups cost way more than packages
Final score: 9/10 Tastes good, but not as good as beef and chicken.
Really good when you are tired of beef and chicken.
I must say, SirKnight is absolutely correct when it comes to his reviews. The tomato
or chili stuff is trully a piece of crap wrapped in plastic.
