Babylon 5 is simply the BEST science fiction programming ever to come along. Set in the "Third Age of Mankind" (Earth's near future--closer to our time than Trek), the story line covers a 5 year arc, and deals with the interactions of a group of humans and alens aboard a space station as they meet and love and fight each other and the rest of the galaxy. Created by J. Michael Strazyncki (a.k.a. "JMS", or as I like to refer to him, the Head Vorlon)
