The story so far: Max is a captive of Manticore after an attempt to destroy their chances of making further clones. Shot by one of her genetically advanced siblings, the only reason she is alive is because her fellow Manticore escapee Zack took his own life so she could have his heart. Logan is unaware that Max is okay and a prisoner while her friends worry about what's happened to her. Lydecker, meanwhile, must work out where his future lies now that he has betrayed his employers and is on the hit list of Manticore boss Madame X.
