We come from the Delta Quadrant, ever in search of new things to assimilate, thereby making us stronger and always superior. Because we are of One Mind and One Objective, we shall always win -- Resistance Is Futile. If you don't believe this, just look at what used to be New Providence Colony on Jouret IV, or Wolf 359, or ask Guinan - she knows us.

Actually, we are not that different from you humans. We are first born as weak as you, but we enhance ourselves through our cybernetic implants, so that we might better serve The Collective. We can evade and overcome danger because we are always linked to each other - it is our "shield". True - while we may not have "individuality", as you call it, we think and act as One - ever growing in strength through the beings and technology we assimilate. How can you ever win against us?

We have had numerous encounters with you since that first one. "Locutus" was one of our better "calling cards" in 2366. You also met Third of Five in 2368, whom you termed "Hugh" - silly humans, although he did create a bit of a problem with that idea of identity you gave him. Yet, you still will not win.
