BACKGROUND
Born on Vulcan in Shikahr, SAS-A-SHAR, on March 26, 2225. [I have also seen 2230 listed as the date] His mother was Amanda Grayson (a human) and his father was Sarek, the Vulcan Ambassador.

He was admitted to Star Fleet Academy in 2249 and served aboard the Enterprise by 2252. He retired from Star Fleet in 2270 but returned in 2271 (Star Trek: The Motion Picture).

SERVICE RECORD (HIGHLIGHTS)
Served as Science Officer aboard U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701.
Served as First Officer aboard U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A.
Was made Captain in 2277.
Served as Federation Special Envoy in 2293 for the Khitomer Peace Conference.

PERSONAL
Ambassador Spock later (2368) became involved with the Vulcan/Romulan Reunification underground movement.
