In most cases, there is a forehead decoration put above the bridle. It is not only a decoration: as indicated by its arabic name (nissassa), it protects the horse's eyes from flies.
I am sure that this part, together with the blinds at the bridle, forms an important reason for the incredible lack of nervousness in the traditionally treated Barb Horse (of course together with genetic factors and the traditional education).
Like all the other parts of the equipment, the forehead decoration is richly embroided.
