Sites With Soul
My list of favorite spiritual sites grew so large, I created a separate page just for them,
appropriately named sites with soul. Check it out.
Clowning Links
Clowning. What a wonderful hobby, and for many people, what a wonderful profession. As an entertaining clown, I'm always looking to learn more and improve my professional performance - in short, to be a better clown. Listed below are many links that may help you if you're interested in either becoming a clown, or learning more about clowing.
Squeaky's Clown Resource Page - Not quite ready yet. A review of many of the books, magazines and videos related to clowning, magic and children entertainment.
Lakewood Costumes Clown and Shop - These people are tremondously helpful and prompt with email responses.
T Myers Magic, Inc. If you need balloons, they have them - always fresh and of the highest quality. They also have quite an assortment of books and videos for the clown or children entertainers. They don't have a home page, but if you email them a request for a catalog and tell them customer # 40101 sent you we both can get a discount on your first order.
Clowns Of America International (COAI) - With a shopping mall that you may find useful.
IgAN and Kidney Resources
Since my wife,Nimfa, was formally diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy, or Berger's disease, we have sought as much knowledge as we could absorb. Thankfully, there's quite a bit of info on the web.
IgAN Home Page - The definitive resource for IgAN on the net created by Russ George.
IgAN Listserver - Real people sharing, talking and learning about IgaN. To join the listerver send e-mail to:
igan@majordomo.srv.ualberta.ca
with the word subscribe in the body of the message.
December 96
- An archive of the December 96 posts to the IgAN listserve.
Check out Vol 1, Issue 3 of On The Path for "Moments" a personal essay of the year Nimfa was diagnosed with IgAN. It includes a couple of links about IgAn and our perspective.
The National Kidney Foundation (1-800-622-9010). More info than you can absorb.
Miscellaneous
Here's a few links that don't
fit into one my primary categories, but I like them just the same. You may also.
Photo Mann - Doug Mann, an accomplished photographer, has traveled around the world and documented his travels with some sharp pictures. I especially like his Asian pictures since I've spent so much time in Asia myself (though don't have any pics like this.)
Kadena Internet Connection
- Just KIC it. If your'e interested in what Okinawa Japan is like, check out this server where I maintain a home page.
Dave Starling, a fellow Sailor who was kind enough to create a banner for me currently lives
in Pensacola Florida and seems to be devoting his spare time to creating a new web site
monthly - he's always redesigning his home on the net and often has some interesting tidbits.
