This Archive is designed primarily as a tool for teachers to assist peers and students in using the WWW as a research tool for their learning. Its primary objective is to provide a database of educationally effective sites so that the user does not have to waste valuable time trying to find "a needle in the haystack." The rubric for evaluating individual WEB sites is somewhat extensive, but not difficult to understand. However, the payoff is that you can be reasonably certain that the sites which a reviewer has positively evaluated will be worth visiting.
