Tai Chi

Where do I begin? Looking back over my life I see countless coincidences. I suppose the real turning point (when I became interested in 'Stuff') was when I received healing 13 years ago. Since then my eyes have been opened. An important coincidence happened 2 years ago but the seeds were sown 5 years ago.

I suddenly felt a strong desire to do Tai Chi. I talked about it a great deal and asked for a book about it for my birthday. I soon realised that I needed a good teacher and asked around - but nothing came up. I put the idea on hold but it kept re-emerging.

Two years ago my beloved Dad died and consequently I had to find a home for my Mum, who has dementure. I felt devastated. I knew that now was the time I had to do Tai Chi.

It would have been only two or three days after Dad's death that I had a phone call from Heather; a former work colleague, who said she was asking around to see if she could find anyone interested in joining a Tai Chi class, as her friend George was starting one. COINCIDENCE!

I started the class in September 95 with a friend who was also going through a crisis at the time. We both constantly say that we couldn't have survived the last two years without our Friday evening class to look forward to and feel strengthened by it in all ways.

Another wonderful coincidence that happened through the class is that we met Veronica, heard about Kaz and are now avid readers of "In*Sync".
