The Peruvian Institute of Polemology (I.P.P.)
is a Non Governmental Organism, with nonprofit aims, associated to UNITED
NATIONS, that works on Latin American Disarmament, disnuclearization of
the Continent, Defense of Human Rights and Environmental Protection. It
was founded in 1985 and since then it periodically publishes the I.P.P.
Magazine, the I.P.P. Bulletin and the International Political Analysis.
It is headed by a Directive Committee integrated by one President, one
Secretary, one Treasurer and two Vowels.
From
1990 the Institute's President es Dr. ERNESTO VELIT GRANDA, Md..
At the moment it has 60 active members and 15 Honor Members. It is recognized
by the Peru´s Government and registered in the Public Registries.
The I.P.P. has organised innumerable Forums on subjects of its specialty,
for instance: The Amazon Defense, Antarctica Continent of Peace, Latin
American Disarmament, NATO and Latin America, among others.
