One morning in 1993 I was handling the gun preparing as if to fire it, and did something that you should never do. I looked down the chamber (barrel) of the gun, literally in the chamber to see if there were any bullets left. Somehow, I accidentally touched the trigger and all of a sudden BAM! The gun went off! I was dazed for a minute, hearing impaired for a few seconds due to the fact it was at such close range and inside the house (my room). I had just bought a new t.v. and VCR and could not figure out how the bullets had missed them, but more importantly how they just missed my head. My grandmother was downstairs and when the shots went off, both through my room door, one in the ceiling, and one in the side wall of the hallway my grandmother came halfway up the steps saying "what was that?" I said "nothing". She repeated herself, and so did I.

I patched up the holes in my door and in the hallway with plaster and spackle but to this day the signs of that near fatal disaster are still visible. I lived to learn my lesson about guns, and I hope you have also learned from reading about this near fatal accident that only if your life is in danger and if your qualified and or trained (and even that's no guarantee) should you handle any kind of firearms. Soon after this incident I sold it (the gun) very cheap just to get it out of my hands and the house. Please, let us think about the children and most of all life itself, or someone might end up in that casket below.
