The Developer's Role

According to Vaughn, "The software vehicle, the messages, and the content presented in multimedia projects are developed by a team of experts that bring to the table the perspective of their particular discipline. These professionals weave the multimedia project into a coherent, understandable electronic document" (6). Developers of a multimedia product can include: animators, coders and interface designers, directors, graphic artists, instructional technologists, photographers, producers, subject matter experts, video specialists, and writers. The developers work together to produce the product.
