Content The content is the words, pictures, and other media the user accesses when reading about a topic. It includes the the title, introduction, and body. The title should immediately cue the reader about the subject matter, helping the reader to decide to continue scanning through the particular screen. The introduction is a concise heading or brief sentence or paragraph the prepares the reader for the content of the topic. The body answers the viewer's questions. For example, if a reader is reviewing an electronic document to find out how to complete a specific task, a well-designed document might contain a numbered list of steps to provide the appropriate information to the reader. Or if the reader is trying to figure out the meaning of a specific term, a well-designed document might contain a description of the term. Start by deciding what question the topic answers, and then design the title, content, and other components with that question in mind. |
Content is the information and material that forms the heart of your project. |
