441. David Trowbridge Buckalew. Born on 18 January 1823. David Trowbridge died on 25 February 1875; he was 52. Occupation: Farmer.

According to "History of Preston County, West Virginia", Oren F. Morton, 1914, Volume I, page 475: David Trowbridge (1773-1864) married Mary A. Grady (1773-1847). Children included: Catharine (1799-1886) married James Bucklew.

David Trowbridge Bucklew, M, born abt 1823 and died by 1880 was probably a son of James & Catharine and was likely named for David Trowbridge, Catharine's father. David Trowbridge & Mary Catharine Bucklew of Three Fork Creek, Preston Co., (W)VA were the parents of a son, James Nelson Bucklew, born in Preston Co., (W)VA on 2 May 1853. 1860 census Preston County 1331-1336 David T. Buckelew 37 Va farmer, Mary C. 39 Va, William J. 11 Va, John C. 8 Va, James N. 6 Va; 1870 census Preston County (Lyon Twp) 14-14 David J(?) David Trowbridge married Mary Catharine Sharps, daughter of John Sharps & Susannah Jane McGee. Born on 23 April 1831. Mary Catharine died on 11 February 1912; she was 80.

442. Mary Jane Buckalew. Born about 1829 in VA. Mary Jane died on 14 June 1900; she was 71.

Another source gives Mary Jane's year of death as 1918.
