1673. Derrick Hogeland Buckalew. Born on 21 August 1804. Derrick Hogeland died on 12 April 1885; he was 80.

Most of the information about the descendants of Derrick H. Barcalow, and much of the information about his siblings, was received initially from Toni (Craig) Cummings <cummings02@sprynet.com>.

Derrick Hogeland married Elizabeth Cornell. Born on 9 October 1823. Elizabeth died on 9 March 1898; she was 74.

They had the following children:

Dear Buckalew Family Member,

I periodically search the net for postings containing my family name and
have been watching the Buck_lew site for some time. I noted that
relatively recently a reference to my grandmother, Emma May Stevens
Jobbins, appeared. Today was the first time I found a contact address
so I thought I'd drop you a note.

My great great grandmother was Elizabeth Barcalow Stevens, daugher of
Garrett and Eleanor (Hogeland) Barcalow. One of their great grandsons
was Wallace Stevens (the poet). Wallace commissioned a professional
genealogy that included the Barcalow (with various spellings of the
name) branch of the family back to the 1600's. My brother currently has
our copy of this work which I am sure has information that compliments
yours. If you are interested in sharing some of this information, drop
me an email and I'll see what I can do.

1675. Jacob Engle Buckalew. Born in 1815 in Feasterville, PA. Jacob Engle died on 19 October 1877; he was 62.

Elsewhere as "Barcalow"

Jacob Engle married Rebecca McGill Banes. Born in 1827 in Feasterville, PA. Rebecca McGill died in 1875; she was 48.

They had one child:
