In the Caddo Parish section of Gerry Green's 7 & 8 issue of "Buckelew Traces," p. 708, there's this entry: "1881 Shreveport City Directory: 'Buckelew, W.F., Conway & Buckelew, r. [resided?] Crockett and Louisiana Streets.' From "The Genie," 2nd Quarter 1987, Vol. 21, #2, p.60."
In the Caddo Parish section of Gerry Green's 7 & 8 issue of "Buckelew Traces," p. 708, there's this entry: "1873 (27 Apr) Church Record: William Buckelew was ordained as a Deacon on this date. From Dr. [W.C.] Dunlap's Pastor's Register, included in 'Early Shreveport Presbyterian Registers.' 'The Genie,' 2nd Quarter 1988, Vol. 22, #2, p. 78."

Wilver / Wilber (?) F. married Nettie (Annette ?) Wood. Born on 16 May 1844 in AL. Nettie (Annette ?) died in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, LA, on 20 September 1906; she was 62. Buried in Greenwood Cem. Confederate Section, Shreveport, LA.

1699. Annie M. Buckalew. Born on 22 June 1845 in Lafayette, Chambers Co., AL. Annie M. died in Longview, TX, in 1931; she was 85.
Much of the information about the family and descendants of Annie M. Buckalew was derived from the 1931 Longview, TX, newspaper obituary, a copy of which was provided by Dorothy Garrison.
On 13 February 1863 when Annie M. was 17, she married W.B. Carlisle, in Caddo Parish, LA. Mrg Bk 2, p 306.

George and Jennie (Parker) Buckelew moved to Terrell, Kaufman Co., TX. Jennie died in 1890, leaving 3 children, Evie Belle, Gertrude, and Parker. The children went to live with their grandparents, the Parkers in Abilene, TX.
On 25 January 1875 when George F. was 26, he married Jennie A. Parker, daughter of Robert Henry Parker (16 September 1828-15 September 1896) & Sarah Anne Clarke (3 December 1832-9 April 1924), in Collin Co., TX. Born in 1855 in MO. Jennie A. died in Longview, Gregg Co., TX, on 26 May 1890; she was 35. Nickname: Jane.
