Martha first married Joseph Moncrief.
Martha second married Tilmon Buckalew (1497) , son of John Buckalew (690). Tilmon died in 1850.
1850, Wilcox Co., AL: Will probated. Sister, Elizabeth (Buckelew) Allen, were named as his heirs.

2716. Amanda Allen. Born about 1838 in AL.
On 5 March 1861 when Amanda was 23, she married John Creighton, in Clarke Co., AL.

2717. Edmund Allen. Born in December 1840 in Wilcox Co., AL. Edmund died in Nashoba, Pushmataha Co., OK, about 1935; he was 94.
Removed from AL soon after the death of his first wife, nee Almena Cave, about 1878. The date and place of his marriage to Maggie Meadows are not known. Their first two children were born in Red River Co., TX, in 1880 and 1882. Three others were born later in Indian Territory.
Mil. Svc.:: Enlisted in the Confederate States Army at Grove Hill, AL, in March 1861. He served in Company A., 5th Alabama Infantry, under Capt. J. M. hall and Col. R. E. Rodes.
Suffered a head wound at Seven Pines, VA, in May 1862, but he returned to active duty after hospitalization and served until the end of the war. He was with General Lee's Army about five miles from Appomatox when Lee surrendered on April 9, 1865. Edmond and a squad of men escaped capture, making their way days later to General Thomas.
On 28 August 1866 when Edmund was 25, he first married Almena Cave, daughter of John Cave & Almena Hawkins, in Clarke Co., AL. Born in 1847. Almena died in 1878; she was 31.
About 1879 when Edmund was 38, he second married Maggie Meadows. Born in January 1848 in La.

Mary Elizabeth married William Brewer.
