3243. Ann Elizabeth Buckalew. Born on 5 August 1855. Ann Elizabeth died in Wilmington, DE, on 24 November 1923; she was 68.

Norman A. Buckalew wrote: "Ann Elizabeth and Andrew J. Morris were married 5 Aug 1873 by the Reverend Francis R. Harvey. ( I had been told by their granddaughter, and my aunt, Lottie Hall Roeper that Annl Elizabeth had been first married to an Alexander Null. There is a a grave stone at the Elk Creek Methodist Church yard with the names of Alexander Null anhd an Anna Buckalew, born 1852. This may have been the daughter of another Buckalew, perhaps a cousin to Ann Elizabeth who was born 1855.) The marriage was certainly the second for Andrew Morris. He had been married to an Edith ____?____ and had two children by her, Edith and Carl. ...

"Andrew J. Morris and Ann Buckalew had eight children. Their daughter, Euphonia "Effie Mae," born April 2, 1883, was my maternal grandmother."

According to Mike Ryan, the family moved to Wilmington, DE.

Ann Elizabeth first married Alexander Null.

On 5 August 1873 when Ann Elizabeth was 18, she second married Andrew John Morris. Born in 1844.

3244. Phoebe Jane Buckalew. Born on 11 July 1858 in East Nottingham, PA. Phoebe Jane died in Wilmington, DE, on 13 March 1932; she was 73.

On 5 August 1874 when Phoebe Jane was 16, she married Isaiah McKelvy Whiteside, son of George S. Whiteside (8 November 1805-5 May 1875) & Rachel J. Fox (1811-1875), in Phoenixville, PA. Born on 25 August 1850 in Oxford, PA. Isaiah McKelvy died in Wilmington, DE, on 24 August 1927; he was 76.

Step brother to Rachel Whiteside (#2965).
