1899 Obituary: Sad Death at D'Armanvill---Dr. Fred W. Buckalew Passes away Saturday: Dr. Fred Buckalew died at his home in D'Armanville Saturday night about 8 O'clock after an illness of several months. Dr. Buckalew had been a suffer from that dread disease, consumption, for a long time. His death was not entirely unexpected though it carried sadness for many hearts. Welfry came into this community six months ago and built up a small medical practice. yesterday afternoon he eloped with and married Miss Ruby Buckalew, the daughter of a physician near Oxford.
