I went by Nixon Chapel yesterday, boy was I wrong, I did not find a single
Buck_lew grave there. My memory must be getting bad. My Aunt Opal told me
that my Grand father went there for decoration each year, she may be wrong?
I talked with the minister at Plesant Grove. He said that the cemetary
actually belongs to the community, not the church. He gave me two names to
contact that are very old members of the church. The toomstones for John,
Matulda, and Caroline B. are in bad state of deterioration. I stopped at
Bethany Baptist church in Horton, AL and spotted the following. Arthur R.
Buckelew, B 27 Oct 1903, D 8 Jan 1952. His wife was Ida C Buckelew, Maiden
name not known or listed, B 1 Feb 1899, D 12 Sep 1979. I assume there
infant daughter Efa Ruth Buckelew B-29 Aug 1936, D- 15 Sep 1936, since it
