4612. Claude Nealon Gates. Born on 4 September 1906. Claude Nealon died on 26 December 1979; he was 73. Buried in Myrtle Hill Cem.; Brandon, FL.

"Claude and Vera finally settled near Tampa, Fl. and raised their family. He
was a building contractor. He had a place in Franklin, N.C. that was like a
winter place that we loved to go visit. His two daughters Eloise and Alene
settled after retirement in the Maggie Valley area of N.C. and Theolene is
still in Fl."
On 22 August 1926 when Claude Nealon was 19, he married Vera Webb.

4613. Clayton Leo Gates. Born about 1908. Clayton Leo died on 11 August 1921; he was 13. Buried in Mt. Zion Cem.; Cullman, AL.
4614. William Floyd Gates. Born in 1910. William Floyd died in Pensacola, FL, in 1993; he was 83.
On 3 October 1931 when William Floyd was 21, he married Inez Jones.

4615. Lilly Estelle Gates. Born on 21 August 1911. Lilly Estelle died on 13 April 1934; she was 22.
On 23 December 1933 when Lilly Estelle was 22, she married Austin Payne.
4616. Emmett Madison Gates (Private).
Emmett Madison first married Irene Payne.
They had one child:
Emmett Madison second married Mable Thompson.
4617. Amon Midford Gates. Born on 8 September 1916. Amon Midford died on 16 January 1996; he was 79.
On 25 June 1939 when Amon Midford was 22, he married Martha E. Wigstrom, in Miami, FL. Born on 10 October 1918. Martha E. died on 6 June 1999; she was 80.
They had the following children:
4618. Earnest Edward Gates. Born on 4 August 1919. Earnest Edward died about 1985; he was 65. Nickname: Sam.
Earnest Edward first married Helen McCarthy. They were divorced.
They had the following children:
Earnest Edward second married Mary Allison Johnson.
