Les - wanted to let you know. My Aunt Melba Buckelew Shipp died tonight at the age of 85. I don't know all of the details yet. She was living in a nursing home south of Atlanta. Her husband, Lester Shipp, called me with the news. She was the daughter of Arthur Pope Buckelew and Martha Davis Buckelew; granddaughter of James Lafayette Buckelew and Carrie Amanda Proctor. Thought you would like to know for your records. And, she's your cousin!! I spent summers in Atlanta, GA with Melba and Shipp many times when I was in my teens and twenties. She is my father's older sister. I have great memories. Take care, Mary Ellen Buckelew Baker
