Welcome to The Spinal Column Page
by Charles D. Tuppen III, Former L.M.T.
( FL Lic.# MA 10403 [ Expired due to disability 1/2001 ] )
NEW !!! Please be advised,
after an appointment with my oncologist on 11/19/2002, some of
my 'thesis' (found below) *may* be incorrect ...
I'll find out more in the next month or so.
After more test results, are revealed.
He couldn't explain my 2 decreases to NORMAL.
I will add more, after further tests & results are received.
ALSO, Please be advised :
That on TWO ( 2 ) occasions, after spending the entire night in FULL traction
( with TOO much cervical weight )
I had minor sypmtoms of a TIA ("mini-stroke")
I suspect that the 45 lbs of weight *may* have limited blood circulation
( through the back of the neck ) to the brain.
I woke up on two days, and couldn't see properly, until taking aspirin and
treating myself with Vibrational Massage ...
Folks, I am NOT a Doctor !!! and I don’t play one on T.V ...
I don’t do imitations or impersonations either ...
* RECENTLY ADDED !!! Traction Apparatus Pictures
( see The Spinal Column Page II )
The following vantage point may not be presently shared
(or rapidly embraced) by the modern medical community, BUT...
I have already sucessfully demonstrated the spinal/cardiac correlation
by adjusting my spine while connected to the cardiac echo machine
in the hospital after entering into a pronounced arrythmea condition...
( AFTER informing the staff of what I was about to do)...
[ and they WERE amazed ]
(I am convinced that in some cases, the quick downward thrust on the sternum
while administering CPR 'adjusts' the thoracic vertabrae directly underneath
and allows the nerves to conduct the proper signals to the heart again.)
I am now in the midst of demonstrating the spinal-neural connection to the
immune system... (Medical documentation of condition and progress to follow).
The major revelations gleaned from multiple x-rays, CT scans, MRIs,
bone marrow biopsy, and detailed blood testing lead to the following :
1) There is disk damage/spinal cord injury at several levels of my spine.
(C5-C6, C6-C7, T5-T6, T6-T7, T11 and L1-L2 )
2) My IgM level (normal is 60-263) began at 1730, went to 1760, 2030, 2070,
2230, 2740 and then to 2966... indicative of monoclonal gammapathy
of undetermined significance (MGUS).
3) My oncologist indicated early on, that I should begin chemotherapy,
but without a clear target, I likened it to playing darts in a darkroom...
with the only guaranteed result to be a compromised immune system,
and I declined...
insisting that the high IgM levels, and my walking/balance difficulties
were related to nerve impingements at the points where they exit the spine.
4) I hooked up, and started using, improvised lumbar and cervical traction
devices while sleeping at night shortly after receiving the
quite disturbing 2966 IgM results.
5) A month afterwards, I was tested again at Moffit Cancer Center
the result was 2634 (down 331)
representing the FIRST decrease in over two years !!!
I have had NO medical treatments and the
traction and lymphatic vibration have been the ONLY changes.
6) I will be tested on a monthly basis to monitor the changes
and the results will be posted here.
The Spinal Column
by Charles D. Tuppen
Think of the spinal column as an internal antenna... broadcasting signals
to the entire body via the nerves that exit between the vertebrae.
When these nerves are prevented from sending the proper signals
to organs, glands or tissues, the result is deficiently
functioning organs, glands or tissues.
If the signal is diminished continually for a sustained period,
it will be reflected as an observable physical dysfunction directly
proportionate to the degree of diminishment and resultant
organ, gland or tissue failure.
Compression injuries to the spinal column resulting in nerve impingement
should be examined as a possible SOURCE of illness and organ dysfunction.
When present, Full Spinal Traction during sleep might well be utilized
as a counter measure, along with appropriate nutritional/medicinal
measures to increase function of the effected organ, gland or tissue
and progress notes should be detailed.
(consult your physician)
Monitoring patient height prior to, and after traction,
as well as intermittently during the day and correlated to patient
condition(s) may serve well as a progress barometer.
As every step taken produces a gravitational ‘shock’ to the skeletal system,
spinally compromised patients should avoid jogging, as a form of aerobic
exercise, and non-shock activity encouraged... i.e.: bicycling, swimming etc.
(consult your physician)
Stay tuned folks... I don't have the financial resources to
‘Scientifically Prove’ my thesis, but the results I am achieving daily
continue to bear it out.
Since beginning my traction in late April '99, my arrhythmia has been
practically non-existent except for one particularly stressful day,
and my gait dysfunction, balance difficulties, and numbness
in the legs and feet have diminished as well.
I expect that the extremely elevated IgM level
(12 times the upper normal range) will begin to show improvement as well,
as the pressure on the nerves that effect my immune system is removed.
Since beginning the traction program, I have re-gained an INCH in height
(at least during the beginning of the day),
and I have also had the best consecutive days in the past two years
as far as my ability to walk and diminished pain.3/8/1999
I received the results from my blood work done at
Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, FL.
My IgM level had decreased from 2966 to 2635 ...
Representing the FIRST decrease in that level in two years !!!
and i have NOT had any recent medical treatment !!!
I believe it's the TRACTION that is causing the improvement...
and i'm hopeful that it WILL continue.
If you have been trying the traction approach mentioned here,
and have results that you would care to share with me...

Positive feedback is always welcome !!!I am also very interested in hearing from reputable spinal injury
research facilities regarding further scientific testing and documentation.
( As well as possible new innovations in surgical corrective procedures !!! )Comments ? Please leave them in my Guest Book ... Thanks !
I have not been able to have my blood tested for over 10 months.
BUT, I would like to THANK Florida Gov. Jeb Bush for his efforts
to help me regain my Medicaid Benefits !
I would also love to hear from an Educational Hospital
Interested in :
1) Pursuing the above testing and ideas. and
2) Interested in doing the needed spinal surgeries.
I would LOVE to have these problems corrected ...
I miss doing Massage more than I can tell you.
Relieving people from pain, is the ONLY thing that brings me PEACE !!!
If you represent such an institution,
PLEASE, leave a comment and your email address in my guest book
I WILL return your mail !!!After furter testing, my diagnosis has been changed to B cell non Hodgkins Lymphoma
My oncologist, Dr. Brian T. Berry M.D. has convinced me to begin a
chemotherapy & steroid treatment.
We started several months ago, and I received some great news.
My IgM count has dropped from 3500, to 1970 since beginning treatment.
And my most recent count has dropped to 1080 !!!
I will continue with the chemotherapy when directed.
And my THANKS to Dr. Owen McCarthy MD for all of his help as well !!!
