TCBBC, a Volunteer OrganizationThe Colony Band Booster Club supports band students in our public schools. This is a volunteer non-profit organization, that brings parents and educators together to provide the best possible environment for students who are interested in music. TCBBC is most successful when we have the help of every band parent in our community.Attention all parent volunteers:Posted 8/22/2003 at 5:30:07 PMThe Lewisville Independent School District requires that any adult person serving as a volunteer, either on campus or on school activities, fill out a Volunteer Application form. They have made it easy for us by putting the application online. It only takes a minute to fill out and will allow us to make sure all parents are able to serve as volunteers in the up coming marching season. We will be comparing the list of applications with the volunteer list to ensure that we are in compliance with LISD policy. Please click on the following link and follow the instructions on the LISD web pages. CLICK HERE www.lisd.net The application is good for two years so if you completed an application last year, there is no need to resubmit for this year. If in doubt, go ahead and submit just to make sure we are in compliance. Thanks, TCBBC Volunteer OpportunitiesPresident Bush has encouraged every citizen to take active volunteer roles in their communities. There are many ways to get involved with the band program. We have many committees for such things as making phone calls, repairing equipment, typing, research, brain storming, moving equipment, data entry, truck driving, building, painting, photographing, and just about anything you can think of. Please consider donating your time throughout the school year. These activities will make a hugh difference in the band program. And it's a lot of fun!
