"We watch our charges from the out
skirts of the Nubian skies......
We are they who train those who search for truth and light.......
Our heratige is rich with kings, teachers, engineers, and warriors....
We oversee the ways of the young, and train them to follow the paths of wise men.....

Delving deep into our Nubian/Kemetian ancestry, we represent three known overseers
who were prominent Netchers, GOD related manifestations, of ancient Nubia/Kemet. These
Netchers were Ra(Re), Ausar-(Osiris), and Heru(Horus). These three Netchers best represent
the sole purpose of our title and who we are as a chapter. For our chapter is made up of
men who know from which we come and know the places we desire to go.
We represent the ascension of Ausar into his son Heru, also known as Horus. In many cases
the falcon was used as the symbol for Heru. The falcon is a symbol for the sun and light,
because of its rapid flight and its ability to soar into the highest regions of the air
where the light abounds. The Netcher Heru is represented by the falcon and his right eye
symbolizes the sun and the sun’s ability, like that of GOD, to OverSee all things at
all times. The eye as you know is the organ which perceives light and represents the
process of spiritual awareness. For the undergraduate chapters we represent their
perception of Sigma light. We show them the next level of Sigma, the graduate level, into
which knowledge is abundant with years of experience and dedication. We show them what
they are able to accomplish through dedication and hard work. We OverSee them as the
falcon looks upon the world with it's piercing gaze. When someone looks up and sees the
falcon they see the light which protrudes from the wings of the falcon as it sours for the
sky.
As you know Ausar, Osiris, was the OverSeer of the afterlife. Ausar journeyed to the
underworld, where he reigned as king. Images of Ausar in his position of ruler-ship
portray him as a mummified, bearded king who carries a shepherd's crook-cane and flail,
and sits on the throne of judgment. Ausar was often known as the "good
shepherd," and is the personification of the cycles of death and rebirth, and of
spiritual salvation. He had the power to determine a soul’s path after death. He was
not the ultimate power over the death, but he was a decisive part of it. As we know Ausar
established order, harmony, and prosperity. It is the Ausar within us that unites and
harmonizes all of the separate functions of the body, enabling them to work as one.
In both cases these Netchers lead to the divinity of Ra. We know that Ra or Re was the
creative aspect of GOD, and whose visible expression is the sun. He was the principal
responsible for all creation and was referred to in the sacred text as self created and
all-powerful. In short, Ra was the OverSeer of all life and as such he was the ultimate
ray of light. This belief in Ra is similar to our faith in GOD with our chapter. GOD
serves as our ultimate ray of light by which we govern our lives. To the undergraduate
chapter we represent the sun, ultimate Netcher, and they represent the earth. All life on
the earth exists because of the sun. The sun’s light illuminates the sky during the
day and overpowers the light of the stars (Netcherw/Deacons), which are always present but
cannot be seen because of the intensity of the sun. So in this case the sun represents a
body that OverSees life not by of its actions, but rather by its influence. We in turn
reflect GOD’s light to the undergraduate chapter with the goal that we overlook and
direct their development, as GOD OverSees us, into not only Sigma, but the world.
Being Hebrew and Nubian in our various decents, we utilize knowledge to combine these
terms into one view. Our ideals are best summed up by author Ra Un Nefer Amen when he
stated, "The solution to our problem is the restitution of the science of life that
actually gave birth to civilization. The only way that this can be done is by correlating
the spiritual doctrines, and religious practices of the founding civilizations with those
of the Black civilizations of today. This is of extreme importance for the simple fact
that most students of spiritual culture and esotericism have received their education from
western organizations who have falsely claimed that they are the custodians of the wisdom
of the ancients." This is who we are and what we represent. Now you are ready, so:
