Evil Words |

A reflection I had while I was home after being away for a year (note to parents: given that your child is mature enough, being away from home can be a good experience). Add in some influence from reading too all the six books of the Lord of the Rings in three weeks, the result is this short, rather spontaneous poem. |
"If it's not from you, it means nothing. That's why it's so far away." |

What do you think the title means? It is interesting to see different intepretations of one thing. Here, I offer my own interpretation. |
Divisible by 3 * |

Everyone loves shortcuts, even trivial ones. Here, I give a simple math shortcut on how to check if a number is divisible by 3. Not convinced that it really does work? You can further check the proof. Know more tricks! Optimize your mathematics! (Yeah, right...) Anyway, I hope you find this interesting. I found the proof an interesting distraction during exam... *8) |
Making Goals |

I screwed my thought up by watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. One of the episodes gave me the idea that living is about making goals. The series has a complex, well-planned storyline. Another try to make goals, I would say. :-) |

Goal is something we want to reach. But very often we work NOT to reach our goal. |

Imagine a world of knights, paladins, #sorcerers, dragons, and magic. Who, do you think, will learn that love is not selfish after a prolonged jealousy? |
Polymorphism of Love |
Added: 22 May 2001 | Last edited: 9 June 2001
Why do dramas and novels endlessly bombard us with love stories? Don't they have any other topics? And, as if this is not enough, why does this article have to talk about love? Well, there are many forms of love. Are you sure you don't want to find out more about them? |

Remember the old shooting game Contra back in the days of 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)? See what we can learn from that silly game. |
Dedications for Education

Against Poverty |

Poverty is still one of the toughest enemies education world must face. While depicting the struggle fought by education world, this story should improve the image of a teacher in the eyes of children. |
Through the Thick Wall of Tradition |
Added: 26 July 2001 | Last edited: 15 June 2001
Even in this internet era, education still has to face tradition. A female cannot go to school, science only invites demons, and such kinds of belief are still alive. How many children never get the chance to go to school just because of outdated values of tradition? |
