Destruction
We actually started removing floor tile in July. It is not an easy process and at times we have to use a hammer and chisel. My son and I have removed all but 10 percent of the tile. That will be removed within the next week. Then we will remove the subfloor and cupboards. I am hanging on to the dishwasher for dear life!
We started tearing off the enclosed porch two weeks ago and the roof was removed by the builder last week. An old cistern was under half the porch and protruded to the south of the porch also. I was really glad to see that go.

The wall on the right was removed November 21, 2004 to make room for Thanksgiving company. My son, Dylan, helped me carry away the door and window. The rest was removed with a sledge hammer and pry bar. It didn't take too long. |  |
