" Heavenly Creatures" is a not coming of age story, a tale of puberty gone terribly wrong. I'm no longer a teenager, I'm not female, I'm not homicidal, and I don't think I'm psychologically disturbed, but I was able to really relate to these two girls who planned and carried out the murder of one of their mothers. Why? Because, as we all know, adolescence is a rough time, and Peter Jackson does a terrific job of capturing the unbelievable emotional energy of that time of life.
