Comments: Open your eyes people, and see
What really goes on, when you look at me I
suffer pains, too intense to describe But have
been told, " you must abide " What happened I
ask, to tolerance ? Please listen, to me for
once My dignity, has been stripped and deleted
Whilst the laws, are "correctley " completed I
wish for the option, of choice But who will
listen, to my voice ? As you look in my eyes, do
you see a tear ? Or, is that only, a symptom of
fear ? A fear so profound, I hope you never know
Of how I am forced to suffer, as I go A law that
is cruel and uncaring I feel Is the present law,
in the way that it deals My life is no longer,
one of living So please allow, the gift of "
giving " Giving me my wish, for V.E. Is a gift I
would cherish, wholeheartedley Try respect, for
my personal choice And please listen, to my
voice It's MY life, It's MY death And I can only
hope, as I draw each breath That V.E. will be
legal one day And allow me the CHOICE, of going
MY way To cease this suffering, that to endure I
have been made And instead allow gentleness and
compassion, as I fade V.E. THE RIGHT OF CHOICE -
PLEASE LISTEN TO MY VOICE

Comments: I learned of your efforts in
LAST RIGHTS, by Sue Woodman. I commend you. I am
a strong proponent of self determination. My
mother watched, horrified, as her sister went
through years of dementia. She told us she did
not want to go through what her sister did.
Unfortunately, she recognized herself in the
early stages of the same mind crippling problem.
She didn't have a "terminal" illness but was
abhored by what her live was becoming. How I
wish I could have provided her a way to end her
life with the same dignity with which she had
lived it!

Comments: I agree with Euthanasia totally
because if I became fataly ill and there was no
cure I would want my life ended.

Comments: I believe voluntary euthanasia
should be available on demand to people with a
painful and terminal condition It would bring
peace of mind to know that one can opt out if
conditions become unbearable.

Comments: I am doing a series of
interviews on physician-assisted suicide and VE
here in Oregon. I spoke with Derek Humphry,
author of Final Exit, among other things, and
found out the Web site address through him. I
support the fight for VE - keep up the good
work! Regards Jo Waldeck

Comments: I believe in everything you
say. People shouldn't have to live in pain, they
should have the right to say enough is enough! I
know if I had an illness and i knew i was going
to die in alot of pain, i would like to get it
over and done with. For my sake and my loved
ones. Keep up the good work Tammy
