A CURIOUS THING HAPPENED IN LATE DECEMBER, 1999. LIKE WITH WHAT YOU FIND IF YOU TAKE A BRIEF SIDESTEP HERE, SOMEONE APPARENTLY FOUND SOMETHING IN THE CONTENTS OF THIS PAGE SO OFFENSIVE THAT THEY (HACKED IN AND) REMOVED IT, BREAKING THE SEQUENCE OF LINKED PAGES.
SO, I ADDED THE INSIGHT INTO THE NOW-FORMER U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE ON THE PAGE, FROM A PAST SUBMISSION TO THE NOW-FORMER CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL TRADE MINISTER.
PERHAPS IN FUTURE BOTH CAN BE ASKED, WITH RESPECT FOR THEIR DISTINGUISHED CAREERS IN PUBLIC LIFE, WHETHER THESE DELETIONS WOULD BE ACTIONS THEY WOULD SUPPORT, ON BEHALF OF "ALL OF US" IN THIS "PRESENT SITUATION" (INCLUSIVE OF THIS HACKER'S ACTIONS), AS WE BEGIN THE NEW MILLENNIUM.
The top portion is virtually the only consistent aspect of my
life then, while allegedly so much progress is being made
because of the "hard work" by the numerous politicians in the
fields affected by both my work and theirs. Even at this the
entitlement amount per month is now $6 per month lower than when
i provided SENATE MAJORITY LEADER Byrd with an equivalent
to this attachment last December, because of a new B.C.
Government restraint measure.
I'm providing this for you because notwithstanding how much time
i had to take to prepare this carefully--and yes, just take the
time to think "(my) present situation"
through in terms actually applying...and not dealt with by "The
Tower Commission" or in the U.S. Congressional Hearings--i find
as well that what i want to do and should do in this work
affecting so many innocent human lives and important
"principles" essential to the survival of "all of us" are limited not by
the 1978 agreement (i've since 1978 always presumed to be in
effect) so much as by...this "condition" that those who can and
should alleviate these restrictions on my financial capabilities
won't do so.
Obviously, therefore, you'd have to understand this before
alleging fault and proceeding further.
In addition to the "Umpire's Decision" by Justice J.
Jerome dated February 24, 1983 on the face of it--which the
White House or SENATE MAJORITY LEADER Byrd can give you a
copy of--i'd draw your attention to the April 1, 1982
"Supplementary Record of Claim--Statement of Observations to the
Umpire" particularly as it argues the issues by reference to international laws and
human rights conventions.
Mr. Walsh, as i say earlier here i note President
Reagan's August 12, 1987 remarks (though frankly i didn't
actually see the televised speech). I can't agree with him
yet that this should be put behind us for reasons given
here and to be extrapolated in my final report to him as SPECIAL
DIPLOMATIC ADVISER TO THE U.S. PRESIDENT.
In stating "final," i bear in mind a remark made by SECRETARY OF
STATE George Shultz during the hearings that if one
genuinely cares about the work one has to be prepared to end it
for the appropriate "principles" if there is little visible
evidence they are being respected. (I trust i can mention this
point raised in the hearings without prejudicing your authority
as basically it is a standard "principle" in itself of
government and international diplomacy. I mention it because at
such times as the Reagan Administration may question my
decisions re these matters or be evaluating my statement to you,
this is why i have made a decision paralleling this stated
"principle" by its SECRETARY OF STATE.)
A lengthy segment of this final report has now been sent to
President Reagan via Senator Inouye and i'm
endeavouring to send the completed report by the end of
September, 1987.
I suggest you read this document in its entirety before making
your final decision on how many prosecutions to pursue and i
have requested that President Reagan (or members of the
U.S. Congress if he won't) provide you with a copy of it.
This report will deal with the issues central to my
responsibilities in this "International
Diplomatic Work...on a direct basis" (with included
consideration for the effects of the wrongdoing on American
foreign policy if the mistakes aren't properly
corrected). Those central issues include(d): promoting
democracy in Latin America and the developing world;
contributing to the achievement of peace in the Holy Lands;
improving relations with the Soviet bloc in order to facilitate
achievement of a comprehensive and "legitimate" nuclear arms
reduction program and establishment of a "legitimate" basis of
"mutual security" (with our adversaries) and "necessary defense"
(...) based upon treaties and with "respect for the rule of law in
international affairs"; and pursuing freedom for the
innocent hostages and discouraging the practice of
hostage-taking and terrorism for the future.
I remain responsible as SENIOR ADVISER TO THE YEAR OF THE
CHILD for a "summary report" to the UNITED NATIONS
SECRETARY-GENERAL re the issues covered in the 1977-78
documents before the work can be completed satisfactorily
according to the original agreement(s).
This extends beyond whether President
Reagan thinks "we" should put "Irangate" behind us before
he's read this final report by me to him.
And this extends beyond whether he decides now, despite what i
will remind him of in this final report about certain actions by
him seemingly related to the 1978 work by me (which he was then
aware of), that the SPECIAL DIPLOMATIC ADVISER TO THE U.S.
PRESIDENT authority is terminated.
