Once in a while, we are touched by the words we read. Much has been written of the wars that brought this planet to world wide conflict twice this century.
In the following pages, we'd like to share some of these words with you and hope you too may be touched by them.

Mr. JW from Sheffield put his thoughts
to paper in the form of a poem after his involvement in the fight for Veterans
rights in Sheffield.
Jodie's Poem
Jodie Johnson was 11 years old when she
wrote it having witnessed a parade of 700 Normandy Veterans at the Annual
Rememberence Service at the Royal Garrison Church, Aldershot in May 1996.
Mary's Poem
Mary Hudson is an active contributor to
WarHeroes. She has written many times to council and government departments
on the injustice to Sheffield War Heroes. Mary has been married to a war
disabled pensioner for over 50 years.
