Splatter Pictures Title

Get Warped!
"Splatter Pictures" sure sounds messy but it's not all that bad. In fact it's actually neat fun making splatter pictures but you will need a grown-ups help. Be sure to ask a grown up for help before trying this activity because you will be using a hot iron.
You will need:

: Heavy white paper
: Old Potato peeler or craft knife.

Old Wax Crayons Old Newspaper

Old wax crayons Old newspapers Iron
Here's what you do:

1. Put a thick layer of newspaper on top of your table or work area. Put a sheet of the white paper on top of this.

2. With a grown-ups help or supervision very carefully cut some (small) crayon shavings over your white paper, use as many colours as you like. Then make a pattern with the shavings on the page (remember to have some white space).

3. Carefully put another sheet of white paper on top of the shavings.

4. Place some more newspaper on top of the white paper, so the white paper is covered.

5. Get a grown up to iron the paper with the iron on a medium heat for 1 or 2 minuites.

6. When the grown up has finished ironing take the newspaper away and carefully peel apart the pieces of white paper.

Presto! Splatter Pictures.
