Melami's Weyr

Melami's Weyr is simple and good for it's purpose of living. The loom is near the sleeping camber's curtain, almost against the wall. The stone dragon couch is pushed under a window on the western wall. Heavy green curtains of three different shades hang above it. Few bookshelves are on the walls, some not even holding books, instead some hold rolls of thread and a small gitar. Near the messy shelves is a framed, charcoal drawing of two people, probably Risik and Melami, laughing together. Signed near the bottom is 'Kilan, Many Thanks'. On the southmost wall is a small stone table against it, surround by four chairs. On the east wall is a small desk, covered in scrolls and parchment and ink. You leave this room and walk into the one Melami disappeared into earlier. It is like a storeroom, but somewhat more spacious. Near the large window is a cot. It doesn't look fit for sleeping, so you assume this is used more as a chair. On it are several hidebound books, with some drawing supplies. The window has a perfect view of where the Weyrlings often train. Leaving this room, you enter the sleeping quaters. It looks simple. The bed, which has two posts and is made of some light colored wood, is nearest the window, which is covered in heavy curtains, three shades of white. There is a dresser which probably holds Melami's clothes. A much larger dragon couch is pushed into a nearby corner, taking up most of the room. To make up for the lacking furniture there are several small tapestries covering the walls. You walk into the bathing room, immedially noticing the odd way the pool works. A slit pours water into the bathing pool, and a 'river' cut into the stone pours water out of the pool, over the side of the Weyr and into the lake below. Unless the slit is closed, the pool is always full. Glows sit in every corner, lighting the room when the sun has fallen asleep. The shelves hold sweetsand and drying cloths. You walk out, looking for something esle to do.

On the table are two wher-hide skins, maps to Gallimim Weyr and Talor Cliff Weyr. Also on the table is a leather bound book or you could explore Melami's weyr further.
