Are you a frequent traveler? Often in the spot of having to fly or drive somewhere and then get "freshened up?" Well, if you put one of these babies together, and leave it together somewhere (like inside or beside your suitcase or overnight bag) you won't ever have to worry about forgetting your deodorant or toothbrush again, let alone having to rake through your suitcase for your toiletries when you only have a little while to get ready. All you need to add to it is running water and a little privacy, and as much time as you want to devote to getting cleaned up. It's an instant salon! When my fella was doing gigs with his band all over central Ohio, we'd get to the bar to set up around 4 pm...long enough before the bar opened that I had the women's restroom to myself, and I'd have just rolled out of bed a few hours before, but after 45 minutes alone in there with the "Kit," I came out looking like a million bucks! The Kit Some purchase may be necessary -- you won't regret it
If you keep all these in there, you'll have a multipurpose kit, for every eventuality. If you are somewhere you can actually take a shower, then you have everything you need, from stepping into the shower to that last spritz of cologne, all in one bag. If you can't shower, you can still wash up in the sink if need be, with the shower gel. Or at least, no matter where you go, you have what you need. The clear nail polish functions as a top coat, base coat, and pantyhose-run-stopper. The tweezers will pluck eyebrows & pull splinters. The black ponytail holder can go casual or dressy. The Ziplocks can contain a spilled product, or keep your jewelry together. It may seem like just plain common sense, as in "But that's what a Caboodle's FOR, dummy!" and you may think me dumb for stating all this at length, but I have to tell you how streamlined my life was when I did this...(I don't travel much anymore.) All I had to do when I went on vacation was just drop it in a suitcase. When it was a day trip, I just grabbed it and went. I always looked great & smelled great, even in situations where I was "roughing it." There were times when everyone else I was with was growing five o'clock shadow somewhere on their bodies, male or female *G* but I still looked and smelled fresh as a daisy, and had a Band-Aid for everyone to boot. When I accompanied those band gigs, I put the tweezers, Band-Aids, emery boards, hair spray, clippers, & pain reliever in a Ziplock and jammed it in my purse...the fellas in the band had an instant "first aid" kit. The payoffs were many and gratifying...hope this lengthy list helps someone in some way! |
