[Fun Makeup Stuff!]
[]

I have a ton of jumbled up old makeup filling two makeup bags & and neither of them are the bag I use for everyday. We all have a bunch of old makeup sitting around in drawers or whatever. What do you do with yours? I just keep it around in case I need it. Who knows, maybe one of those old colors may be needed someday.

I rarely have the problem of buying colors that don't work, except for lipstick. I'm a lipstick & nail polish slut, up for it anytime, anywhere. I'll buy it at the drop of a hat. So I have way too much of both. As for lipstick, I keep buying pinks and reds and lavenders because they're so pretty but they just don't work on me. Frosty metallics beiges, browns and golds look best on me.

As for eyeshadows, the reason I never buy the wrong colors is because I keep buying the same ones over and over! Dark green, bone, beige, brown...I keep thinking I'll end up with perfect, smoldering Cindy Crawford eyes, but I never do.

I never buy blush. I am so pale, nearly chalk white, that one micron of blush looks like a streak of red on me. Hopelessly fake.

I'm not nearly as hopeless in the makeup aisle as I sound, and in fact, I'm a makeup junkie. I have been for years. There was once even a time when I looked regularly as close to supermodel good as I get. (Then I discovered the web.)

But oh yes, I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. Among them my secret recipe for a supermodel face, both for work (ten minutes) and evening (slightly longer). My "kit," an instant salon, just add running water, and my tips on how to apply fake eyelashes.

Which first?
