Pictures of Cujo

The following two photos were taken the first day I rescued Cujo... He was severely stressed, anorexic, and loaded with parasites... Luckily, I rescued him in the nick of time! :-)

Sick Cujo, side view
Here we can see that Cujo is in the middle of a shed, and that his skin is a dingy brown, because the terrarium at the pet store contained bark. We can also see how stressed Cujo is -- tighly folded dewlap, absent stare... That night, he stayed in that very position for hours.

Sick Cujo, front view
We can clearly see how caved him Cujo's stomach is. After the first administration of deworming meds, his stomach caved in even further than that. At that point he could no longer swallow anything on his own, without regurgitating it. I had to send fluids directly into his stomach with a hose attached to a seringe. Luckily I didn't have to do that very often, before Cujo began eating on his own. :-)

Healthy Cujo, side view
Here is Cujo, several months later, in all his splendour. :-)

Yet another endearing pose... :-)
