The continuing saga of money problems and providential blessings.

Needing some cash for the weekend, I visited our local ATM and discovered that our newly acquired Check Card did not respond, as promised, to the old PIN.

Once again, we were stuck at the commencement of the Sabbath without any financial resources. Scratching our heads, at least figuratively, I called our bank to request the issuance of a pin which would take several weeks. I did learn, however, that we received an unexpected blessing when the local ATM refused to "capture" our card.

As the nearest grocery store would not accept the Cirrus network, I took the bus to the grocery on the other end of town, which isn't fat. They accepted the card and I was able to purchase enough groceries to tied us over for the weekend as the refrigerator in our motel room isn't large enough to accommodate more then a handful of groceries and we have no cupboards or cabinets or food storage areas.

I see in this episode this afternoon, a series of providential blessings and give the Lord my heart felt praise.

Praise the Lord!
