Cameron was christened on the 24th of May. It was a big day for everybody, with a
little party at Jeanette's parents place. The god parents are Sheila Riordan and Julie
Churches. |
The people in the picture are Steven, Cameron, Martin, Jeanette, Sheila and Julie.
| Watching him develop is an amazing experience. He still hasn't got any teeth, but it doesn't stop him from trying to eat anything he can. The only food we've offered him that he didn't like was a rather bizzare experiement of Jeanette's, mixing cheese in with his mashed veggies. Actually, I thought it tasted quite nice, but Cameron didn't... |

He's still got his lovely, chirpy personality, and he's getting very vocal nowadays. What
was really amusing (for doting parents anyway) was when he was spending what seemed like
hours at a time working on one sound, just burbling away in repetitition, as if he was
practicing it, till he got it dead right..... He has lots of different sounds, now; he loves blowing raspberrys, and "talking" to us. Of course, we both keep thinking that we recognise various words (like mum, bub and dad) amongst his sounds, but I guess it's still a bit early !!! |
