Wildflowers

You may think it strange to have a wildflower page on a Birding website but I've found wildflowers and birding go hand in hand. Especially during Spring Migration there are so many beautiful wildflowers popping up and many birds and butterflies can be found getting nectar from their fragrant blooms.  I always carry a wildflower field guide with me as well as my bird field guides whenever I go birding. Whenever it gets slow I try to identify the flowers in bloom at the time.
