Death of Mr. Remsberger

Mr. John Remsberger, a well known resident of Pine Plains and Stanfordville, died at Vassar Hospital, Pokeepsie, Jan. 24, at the age of 56 years, after a short illness. Death was due to pneumonia. Mr. Remsberger was born in Gutenstein, Baden, Germany, June 24, 1866. When about twenty years of age he came to America to make his home. In 1892 he married Miss Catherine Bathrick of Germantown. For the past fourteen years he had lived on the J. Walter Righter farm. He was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He was a devoted father, and his kindly ways were well known to his friends and neighbors. The funeral services were held from the Methodist Church, Saturday, Jan. 27, at one o'clock. Rev. J. R. Halmshaw officating. The interment was in Vedder Cemetery. The bearers were Irving Hart, Theo. Engalke, Leonard Hoffman, Harry Coons, Horace Bowman and Lewis Traganza. Many floral tributes were recieved. Mr. Remsberger leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, four sons, two daughters, two grandchildren and several neices and nephews.(ed. 1/25/23)
The funeral services of the late John Remsberger were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church last Saturday, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. R. Halmshaw. Burial was in the Gallatin Reformed Cemetery.

Frederica Traganza Remsberger
Frederica Traganza, wife of John Remsberger, and daughter of Louis Traganza, died at the Remsberger home on Sunday evening at the age of 25 years, following a short illness of pneumonia. The sudden passing on came as a surprise to the majority, for it was thought that her vitality would be strong enough to overcome the fever. She was a popular resident of this village and won admiration among a wide circle of friends. Funeral services were conducted from St. Anthony's church, this Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Father Francis J. Lavelle, pastor. Interment was in Vedders cemetery. Beside her husband and father she leave a seven months old son, two sisters, Mrs. Augustus Schrowang, of Kingston, and Mrs. Thomas Remsberger of this village and one brother, William, also of this village. Funeral arrangements were in charge of F. S. Roberts and Sons. The deepest sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved members of the family and relatives. We see in our vision, as we look afar, The Golden Gate that stands ajar. It opened wide at the Master's call. We are sad, we greive, she has left us, all.(ed. 4/7/27)

Mrs. K. Remsburger Passes, Long Illness
Mrs. Katherine M. Remsburger, widow of John B. Remsburger, died July 5th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pulver Bird, of Carpenter Hill, in the town of Stanford. She was 75 years old and had been ill for some time. Mrs. Remsburger was born in Milan, Nov. 3, 1870, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bathrick. She lived in the vicinity all her life. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Ira Hoffman of Pine Plains and Mrs. Bird of Stanford; four sons, Isaac of Schenectady and John, Thomas and David of Pine Plains, also thirteen grandchildren and a brother George Bathrick of Clinton Corners. Her husband passed away 23 years ago. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Methodist church, Pine Plains, of which Mrs. Remsburger was a member. Services were conducted by Rev. C. P. Hunter, pastor. The burial was in the Gallatin Reform cemetery (Vedders) under the direction of Frank S. Roberts, Pine Plains. Bearers were Wilford and Alton Evans, Raymond Jr. and Ernest Sigler and Thomas and Kenwood Remsburger.(ed. 7/11/46)

Services Held For Ira L. Hoffman
Ira Leonard Hoffman, 66 passed away at the Northern Dutchess Health Center, Rhinebeck, on Saturday, July 11. He had been a patient there a day and a half. Mr. Hoffman was a son of the Leonard and Ella Miller Hoffman and was born in Pine Plains March 23, 1893. The Hoffman family was among the early settlers of Pine Plains, settling here previous to 1768. Mr. Hoffman had lived here all of his lifetime and had engaged in farming. He was a member of the Pine Plains I.O.O.F. Lodge, Pine Plains Grange and The Orientals of Poughkeepsie. His wife, Edith Remsburger Hoffman, and a son, John Leonard Hoffman, survive; also a grandson, John Leonard Jr., two brothers, Strever and Homer and a sister, Mrs. Harry Myers and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, the Rev. Harlan Scott of the Pine Plains Methodist church, officiating. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery. Bearers were Gould Patchin, Richard Peck, Peter Robinson, Raymond Sigler Jr., George Irwin and Walter McGhee.(ed. 7/16/59)

Word recieved at The Register-Herald press time that John Remsburger Sr. had passed away a Northern Dutchess Health Center, Rhinebeck. He died on Wednesday, June 1st, having been a patient there since May 1st. Funeral Arrangements, in charge of Peck & Peck, were not made in time to carry in this issue.
John Remsburger Retired Farmer, 67
The following was taken from the Poughkeepsie New Yorker's Wednesday night edition: John Henry Remsburger, 67, retired Pine Plains farmer, died Wednesday in the Northern Dutchess Health Center, Rhinebeck, where he had been a patient since last May 1. His wife, Mrs Frederica Traganza Remsburger, died more than 20 years ago. Born in Germantown, Sept. 28, 1892, Mr. Remsburger was the son of the late John B. and Catherine Bathdrick Remsburger. He had resided in Pine Plains the greater part of his life. Surviving are a son, John L. Remsburger, Westfield, Mass; three brothers, Thomas and David Remsburger, Pine Plains; and Isaac Remsburger, Schenectady; two sisters, Mrs. Pulver Bird, Stanfordville and Mrs. Ira Hoffman, Pine Plains; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow for John H. Remsburger, 67, retired Pine Plains farmer, who died yesterday in Northern Dutchess Health center, Rhinebeck. Mrs. Remsburger Sr. Died Suddenly
Mrs. Marguerite Louella Remsburger died unexpectedly at her home here Wednesday, July 20, she was 67 and cause of death was a heart seizure. Mrs. Remsburger was born in Pine Plains Dec. 6, 1894, a daughter of Lewis and Bertha Owens Traganza. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary societies of St. Anthony's church, and American Legion auxiliary, Shacameco Post. Surviving are her husband Thomas; a daughter, Miss Margaret Remsburger, Port Washington; four sons, Thomas Jr., Kenwood W., Louis J., all of Pine Plains, Vincent A., Saugerties; a brother William Traganza, Pleasant Valley; a sister, Mrs. Mary Schrowang, Kingston; and several grandchildren. Friday afternoon the Altar Society held a service and in the evening the Rosary was recited. A requiem mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's church. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery. Bearers were William Fahey, William Peck, Harold Shook, Fred Fingar, Floyd Edelman and George Will. Peck and Peck of Pine Plains was in charge of arrangements.(ed. 7/27/61)

Isaac Remsburger
Isaac Remsburger, 68, formerly of Pine Plains and Syracuse, recently of Stanfoedville, died Saturday at the Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck. At the time of his death Mr. Remsburger was making his home with his sister, Mrs. Jennie C. Bird. He also is survived by a son Allan, Schenectady; another sister Mr. Edith Hoffman, Pine Plains, and two brothers, David and Thomas, both of Pine Plains. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Courtland Andrew Funeral Home, in Schenectady. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery there.(ed. 1/12/67)

Thomas Remsburger
Thomas B. Remsburger, 82, Schenectady, formerly of Pine Plains, died Monday in Schenectady. He was born in Milan, Oct. 17, 1894, the son of John and Catherine (Bathrick) Remsburger. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Army. A resident of Schenectady since 1969, he had formerly resided in Pine Plains. Mr. Remsburger was retired and had been employed as a clerk at the Samuel Deuel Lumber Co., Pine Plains. He was a member of Shacameco American Legion Post No. 426, Pine Plains and St. Anthony's church, Pine Plains. His wife, the former Marguerite Traganza, died in 1961. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret David, Great Neck, L.I.; four sons, Thomas Remsburger, Kenwood Remsburger, and Louis Remsburger, all of Pine Plains, and Vincent Remsburger, Raliegh, N.C.; a brother David Remsburger, Sr., Pine Plains; a sister, Mrs. Edith Hoffman, Pine Plains, 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.(ed. 2/3/77)

Laura I. Remsburger, a former chef at the Wassaic State School,died April 2 at Sharon (Conn.) Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Remsburger, 91, of North Main Street in Pine Plains, retired from Wassaic State School in 1958. She moved to Pine Plains from Hyde Park in 1954. Mrs. Remsburger was a member of the Stone Church in Dover Plains. She was born July 5, 1892 in Hyde Park, the daughter of George S. and Ida Jane Doughty Traver. She was married to Isaac A. Remsburger, who died in 1967. Mrs. Remsburger is survived by one nephew. Arrangements were under the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, Pine Plains.

David M. Remsburger, 80, a retired dairy farmer, died Aug. 27 at Sharon Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Remsburger of South Main Street had been a lifelong resident of Pine Plains. He was past master of the Pine Plains Chapter of the International Order of Odd Fellows. Mr Remsburger was born Jan. 1, 1905 in Stanfordville, the son of John and Catherine Bathrick Remsburger. He was married Oct. 5, 1929 in Millerton to Harriet E. McGhee, who survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Remsburger is survived by one son, David J. Remsburger of Charlotte, N.C.; three daughters, Katherine Cahill, Barbara Remsburger, and Penny Glembock, all of Pine Plains; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Edith Hoffman of Pine Plains; and several nieces and nephews. PINE PLAINS-Edith M. Hoffman, 84, of Hoffman Road Pine Plains, former town Democratic chairman, died Wednesday at home after a long illness. Born Oct. 12, 1901, in Germantown, she was the daughter of John B. and Catherine M. (Bathrick) Remsberger. Mrs. Hoffman was an office assistant and housekeeper for Dr. Walter W. Wicks in Pine Plains for more than 50 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Pine Plains. Mrs. Hoffman was a member of the Pine Plains Chapter of Rebecca's, the Pine Plains Grange, the Pomonna Grange and the Pine Plains Historical Society. She was married in 1928 in Pine Plains to Ira L. Hoffman, who died in 1959. Surviving is a son, John L. Hoffman, Sr. of Pine Plains, and a grandson. Services will Saturday at 1 p.m. from Peck & Peck Funeral Home, Pine Plains. Margaret M. David, 70, a homemaker and former Pine Plains resident, died Oct. 1 at her home. Mrs David was a member of St Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Pine Plains. She was born Feb. 20, 1919 in Pine Plains to Thomas and Marguerite Traganza Remsburger. She attended Pine Plains High School. Her husband Louis J. David, survives at home. Other survivors include four brothers, Thomas Remsburger, Kenneth Remsburger and Louis Remsburger, all of Pine Plains, and Vincent Remsburger of Raleigh, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Vicki Jean Cahill Blake, 29, a licensed practical nurse and a Rhinebeck resident, died Jan. 30 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie after a long illnes. Prior to residing in Rhinebeck, she lived in Pine Plains. Miss Blake worked at the Cardinal Hayes School in Millbrook. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pine Plains. Born Feb. 13, 1961 in Sharon, Conn., she was the daughter of Robert K. Cahill, Sr. and Katherine Remsburger Cahill, who survives in Pine Plains. Miss Blake was a graduate of Stissing Mountain Junior/Senior High School in Pine Plains and received her practical nursing degree from the Dutchess County Board of Cooperative Educational Services. Survivors include her fiance, Steven Sackett of Rhinebeck, three sisters, Linda S. Carson of Rhinebeck, Amy Beth Cooney of Hyde Park and Sarah Lynn Cahill of Pine Plains; a brother, Robert K. Cahill, Jr. of Pine Plains; maternal grandmother, Harriet Remsburger of Pine Plains, and several nieces and nephwes. A service took place at the United Methodist Church, Church Street, Pine Plains. Louis J. David, 77
RHINEBECK-Louis J. David, 77, a two-year Rhinebeck resident, died Sept. 2, 1992 at Wells Manor in Rhinebeck after a short illness. A former resident of Port Washington, Nassau County, Mr. David was a former groundkeeper for the North Hempstead Country Club of Port Washington. During World War II, Mr. David served in the Army as a combat infantry man in the Pacific theater. Born Dec. 14, 1914, in Manhasset, Nassau County, he was the son of Alexander and Frances Gunski David. His wife, Margaret M. Remsburger David, died in October 1989. Survivors include his brothers, Joseph David of Port Washington and Arthur David of North Babylon; a sister, Frances Gatulli of Levittown; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, South Main Street, Pine Plains, Deacon Sal Patricola officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Pine Plains.(ed. 9/10/92)

Harriet Remsburger, 82
PINE PLAINS-Harriet E. Remsburger, 82, died Aug. 20, 1994 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Conn. Mrs. Remsburger resided in Millerton prior to moving to Pine Plains in 1929. She had worked as an assembler at the former Pinne Plains Garment Factory and was a waitress at the former Peppers Restaurant and the Stissing House of Pine Plains. She was a former member of the Rebbecca Chapter of Pine Plains. Born Dec. 29, 1911 in the town of NorthEast, she was the daughter of George and Etta Pardee McGhee. On Oct. 5, 1929 in Millerton, she married David M. Remsburger, who died in 1985. She is survived by a son, David J. Remsburger of Charlotte, N.C.; three daughters, Katherine Cahill, Barbara Remsburger, and Penny Glembock, all of Pine Plains; two sisters, Fannie Maggracoomo and Alice Walsh, both of Canaan, Conn.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 19 brothers and sisters. Arrangements were made by Peck & Peck Funeral Home, Main Street, Pine Plains. Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church, Church Street, Pine Plains, with the Rev. Alfred Liberatore, the former pastor, officiating. GALLATIN-Alice E. Remsburger, 67, a Gallatin resident since 1951, formerly of Pine Plains, died March 29, 1995 at home. Mrs. Remsburger was a custodian at Seymour Smith Elementary School in Pine Plains. She was a member of the Pine Plains Hose Co. Ladies' Auxiliary, St. Anthonys' Church and the Church's Altar Society. Born Aug. 31, 1927, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Worthington and Anna Mae Burdrick Wheeler. She was predeceased by her stepmother, Helen Hurley Wheeler. On Nov. 30, 1947, in Amenia, she married Thomas Remsburger Jr., who survives at home. Also surviving are two daughters, Marguerite A. Hill of Pine Plains and Alyce M. Larkin of Gallatin; a son, Thomas "T.R." Remsburger III of Pine Plains; three sisters, Pearl Kaats of Fort Myers, Fla., Barbara Ann Fieller of Ancram and Marjorie McGhee of Millerton; nine brothers, Alfred Wheeler and Homer Burdick, both of New York, Lewis Burdick of Pine Plains, Worthington "Tucker" Wheeler of Sharon, Conn., John "Jack" Wheeler of Clinton Corners, William Wheeler of Germany, and Donald, Thomas, and Charles Wheeler, all of Ancram; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at St. Anthony's Church with the Rev. John Gallant officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains. David J. 'Jake' Remsburger, IBM-retiree
CHARLOTTE, NC-David J. "Jake" Remsbuger, 64, a former Pleasant Valley resident, died Monday at University Hospital in Charlotte. He was a photo lab technician for IBM in Charlotte and retired in 1991. He was a member of the Shekomeko American Legion Post No. 426 and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Remsburger was an avid bowler. Born in Pine Plains on Feb. 28, 1932, he was the son of David M. nd Harriet E. McGhee Remsburger. He married Linda M. Botkin in Staatsburg on July 17, 1983. Mrs. Remsburger survives in Charlotte. Mr. Remsburger is also survived by three daughters, Kim E. Remsburger and Kelly J. Center, both of Poughkeepsie, and Krista M. Waldron of Indianapolis; Two sons, David J. Remsburger, Jr. of Charlotte and Dennis M. Remsburger of Pleasant Valley; a stepdaughter, Darlene A. Lillis of Poughkeepsie; two stepsons, Jeffery C. and Justin Z. North, both of Pleasant Valley; three sisters, Katherine Cahill, Barbara Remsburger and Penny Glembock, all of Pine Palins; and 14 grandchildren. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Peck and Peck Funeral Home, South Main Street, Pine Plains. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Thomas 'Tommie' Remsburger Jr.
GALLATIN-Thomas "Tommie" Remsbuger Jr., a mechanic for 27 years for Pine Plains Ford garage and a custodian at Stissing Mountain High School, died Wednesday at Castle Point Veterans Administration Hospital. A local resident since 1951, he previously resided in Pine Plains. He was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus of Amena, Holy Name Society, Mens Club of St. Anthony's, Pine Plains Alumni Association, CSEA and RPEA of Albany, and AARP of Washington. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 359th infantry regiment. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans 194, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5519 and American Legion Post 426 of Pine Plains. Born in Pine Plains, he was the son of Thomas and Marguerite Traganza Remsburger. He was the widower of Alice E. Wheeler Remsbuger who died March 29, 1995. Mr. Remsburger is survived by two daughters, Marguerite Ann Hill of Pine Plains and Alyce Larkin of Gallatin; a son, Thomas "TR" Remsburger III of Pine Plains; three brothers, Kenwood and Louis, both of Pine Plains, and Vincent of Raleigh, N.C.; and five grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Margaret Remsburger David, died in 1992. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celbrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Pine Plains. Kenwood Remsburger; 74
PINE PLAINS-Kenwood W. Remsburger, 74, a resident of Pine Plains and lifelong area resident, died Nov. 13, 1997 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. He was a clerk at Pine Plains Post Office for 23 years before retiring in 1983. Mr Remsburger was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Church in Pine Plains. He was a member of Ageless Wonders of Pine Plains and of American Legion Post No. 426. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Born Feb. 26, 1923 in Poughkeepsie, he was a son of Thomas V. and Marguerite Traganza Remsburger Sr. He married Angeline Moore on July 27, 1947 in Amenia. Mrs. Remsburger survives at home. In addition to his wife, Mr. Remsburger is survived by two daughters, Patricia L. Knight of Hyde Park and Lori A. Heywood of Rhinebeck; two brothers, Louis J. Remsburger of Pine Plains and Vincent A. Remsburger of Raleigh, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Margaret David and a brother, Thomas A. Remsburger Jr., died previously. Arrangements were made by Peck & Peck Fureral Home, Pine Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Anthony's Church with the Rev. William White officiating. W. Pulver Bird, 91
STANFORDVILLE-W. Pulver Bird, 91 a resident of Stanfordville and lifelong area resident, died Nov. 19, 1997 at Geer Memorial Home in Canaan, Conn. He owned and operated Brushey Hill Dairy Farm in Stanfordville. Mr. Bird was a member of the Farmers Cooperative of Dutchess County and the Dairymen's League. He also was a member of Agway and Marous Dairy Cooperative. He was an Amenia High School graduate. Born April 16, 1906 in Brooklyn, he was a son of Isaac B. and Catherine A. Bahr Bird. He married Jennie C. Remsburger in 1929. She died in 1973. Mr. Bird is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Weaver of Gallatin and Lakeland, Fla., and Gail Sweeney of Stanfordville; Two sons, Robert and Donald Bird, both of Stanfordville; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, two sisters, Dr. Marguerite M. Bird and Mary E. Bird, died previously. Arrangements were made by Peck & Peck Funeral Home, Pine Plains. Services will be held at Smithfield Presbyterian Church in Smithfield, at a time to be announced. Buriel will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains. RHINEBECK-Graveside services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Pine Plains for John R. "Jack" Bird. The Rev. Gerald Gallagher will officiate. Mr. Bird, 40, of Rhinebeck, with family in Stanfordville and Red Hook, died Sept. 19, 1998 at Albany Medical Center in Albany. He was a carpenter, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Bird was a graduate of Rhinebeck High School. Born on July 1, 1958, in Sharon, Conn., he was a son of Robert P. Bird Stanfordville, and Carol Thomsen Bird, of Rhinebeck. Other survivors include four sisters, Jill Wyant of Red Hook, Joan Winne and Donna Bird, both of Rhinebeck, and Julie Cocchi of Spring Hill, Fla; one brother, Robert O. Bird, of Stanfordville; several nephews; one niece; aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements are by Peck & Peck Funeral Home, Pine Plains. PINE PLAINS-Katherine E. Cahill, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004 at home. She was born on Nov. 11, 1933 in Poughkeepsie, the daughter of the late David M. and Harriet E. (McGhee) Remsburger. Mrs. Cahill was employed as a secretary for Osofsky & Replansky, attorneys in Pine Plains. Mrs. Cahill was a very active member of the Pine Plains Methodist Church. Surviviors include her husband, Robert K. Cahill, Sr., of Pine Plains; daughters, Linda S. Carson of Red Hook; Amy Beth and son-in-law, Richard Jaeger of Clermont; Sarah Lynn and son-in-law, Lester Funk IV of Pine Plains; and Cindy Cobble of Pine Plians*; a son, Robert K. Cahill, Jr., of Boston; sisters, Barbara Remsburger and Penny Glembock, both of Pine Plains. Beloved grandchildren, Jeremy Carson of Rhinebeck; Amber Carson of Red Hook; Jordyn, Haleigh, and Zachary Funk, all of Pine Plains; Campbell Cahill of Boston; Richard Jaeger, Jr. of Gainesville, Fla. and great-grandson Tivon Carson of Rhinebeck. A daughter, Vicki Jean Cahill Blake in 1991 and a brother, David J. Remsburger, predeceased her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 at 11 a.m. from the Pine Plains Methodist Church with Rev. Juanita Middlebrook officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions are requested to the PIne Plains Methodist Church, Pine Plains, NY 12567. Arrangements are under the supervision of the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, S. Pine Plains, NY – Angeline M. Remsburger, 79, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at The Baptist Home in Rhinebeck, NY.
She was born on May 1, 1927 in Nevis, NY the daughter of the late Howard and Ethel (Brown) Moore. Mrs. Remsburger was a 1944 graduate of Red Hook High School. Mrs. Remsburger was a postal clerk for twenty two years for United States Postal Service in Pine Plains. She retired in 1987. Previously she had worked at the GE Plant in Millerton. She was a member and Deacon of the Pine Plains Presbyterian Church, the Bible study group and the Women’s Assoc. Also she was a member of the Milan Senior Citizens and she volunteered for the Meals on Wheels. On July 27, 1947 in Amenia, NY she married the late Kenwood W. Remsburger. He predeceased her on November 13, 1997. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-laws, Lori and Addison Berkey of Bangall, NY; Patricia and Mark Kaiser of Hyde Park, NY. She was predeceased by four sisters, Dorothy Coon, Marguerite Drake, Carolyn Coon, Mamie Coon and a brother, John Moore Sr.
Calling hours are 9:30 to 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home South Main St. Pine Plains, NY.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from the Pine Plains Prebyterian Church with Rev. Diane Kennedy officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains. A reception will follow the Burial at Bullis Hall in Bangall.
