Of the Davenports listed above as having died, 9 died primarily because of age, 6 died as the result of accidents, 4 died of internal medicine problems, 2 died from complications of founder, 2 died of colic, 2 died as a result of foaling, 2 died of unknown causes, 1 died of a veterinary anomoly, 1 died because of veterinary incompetence. Foal deaths have not been listed or counted.

As of the beginning of 1999, the oldest Davenports still living are Ibn Alamein, Bint Alamein and Fancy Flight, all 31, followed by Capulet and Don Camillo at 29.
