The Rebuilt Carburetor

Following the advice of our neighbor, we sent the old carb out to be rebuilt. The tractor now had one bright green spot.

New Gauges

We decided that all new gauges were a good thing. Elizabeth removed all the wires, painted the instrument panel the appropriate green color and then reinstalled the gauges.

Power Steering Problem

Before we begin the painting process, we want to ensure the tractor is in good running condition. One serious problem we see is the inability to make left-hand turns aided by power steering.

We had been having power steering problems since we purchased the tractor. We spent time in 2005 unsuccessfully trying to resolve it. In a last-ditch effort to deal with the problem, Elizabeth topped off the power steering fluid level to no avail.
