Another party favorite, and very easy on the effort and the budget.
Slice rolls through the center (to make tops and bottoms). You can leave them all attached and this makes the slicing easier.
Mix the next 5 ingred. together well. Spread thinly on the bottoms of the rolls. Sprinkle swiss cheese over the bottoms, then ham. I went easy on the cheese and heavy on the ham. =)
Put the tops on over the ham, then spread more of the butter mixture thinly over them. Wrap in foil and bake for 10 min. at 400.
People always always always ask for this recipe, and it is so simple to make.
This recipe is especially easy with a food processor.
Put all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until well-blended...will be crumbly. Gently gather the crumb mixture in your hands and press together, then put into a pastry bag or the tube of a cookie press fitted with a star tip or plate. Squeeze out onto a cookie sheet and cut into about 3 inch lengths. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Don't let them get too brown or they will taste burned.
If you don't have a cookie press or pastry bag, shred the cheese before mixing and mix well. Roll dough out thin and cut into thin strips. Bake the same way as above.
