RUTLAND INFANT DIES SATURDAY

HUMBOLDT, IOWA JUNE 10 - Darrell Roy Hansen, the four month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Adel Hansen, of Rutland, died Saturday after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the home of the child's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Dolder, in Humboldt, the Rev. Floyd W. Dick, minister of the Methodist parish at Rutland, officiating. Besides the parents, surviving relatives include twin brothers, Alvin and Elden Hansen, and the infant's grandmother Mrs. Laura Hansen, here. Final rites were at Union cemetery here, W. F. Hopley in charge.
The community here extends it's deepest sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Adel Hansen during the illness and death of their infant son, who passed away at the home of Mr. Hansen's mother in Humboldt Saturday afternoon. The little man was taken suddenly ill on decoration day with heart trouble and never did recover. He was taken to Fort Dodge Hospital for aid on Wednesday but it proved fatal. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the parental Dolder home in Humboldt. The Rev. F. W. Dick was in charge and burial was made in Union Cemetery.
