I have what I call 2 sets of Grandchildren,
4 of them came ready made when I married for the second time. And I love
them dearly, my life would be very empty without them. They are Michael who
is now 29 years old, and single; Scott who is 26 and married 2 yrs.
,Amanda who is 23, married and has given me the most wonderful Great
Granddaughter who is 3, named Kayla, you will meet her in photos further
down Joey who is 21, single and In the Air Force, you will meet him on my
page My Pride~My country along with my youngest
son and nephew.
My second set of Grandchildren started when
my oldest son Matthew gave me Chelsea...and these wonderful little things
keep coming, and I couldn't be happier. These 4 grandchildren are just as
special to me as the first set, but there is something about seeing them
borne, looking for the first tooth, watching them take their first steps,
and ohhhh the joy when you first hear Gemaa...you heart bursts with pride
and joy. Please don't misunderstand, the first time my first set called me
Grandma, made me cry, because that was a hurtle that we had overcome....It
is very hard becoming another person in an already established family, and
it wasn't an easy transition for any of us, but we made it, and I have ALL
these wonderful Grandchildren and Children in my life, that has made it so
much richer... |
