Carmen Young
May Her Dream Live On

Carmen was planning to make this her life's work. Her spirit will always be remembered in the hearts of those who followed her story. Her family are trying to continue her work and often recieve mail from donors because of Carmen. Her memory can best be honored by signing a donor card.

Heather MacQueen, a Sydney Physical Education teacher, was inspired to do a bike tour of the atlantic provinces called "Carry on Carmen's Dream" To raise awarness for organ donation.

Carmen Young's Lifeline, an interactive school program developed to promote awarness in school children, has been launched in Nova Scotia, British Columbia and Alberta. The hope is that gradually it will be a national program.

This determined young girl proved that one small person can make a huge difference. Please "Carry on Carmen's Dream" by choosing to share life by becoming an organ donor. Carrying on Carmen's Dream Foundation and Carmen Young's Lifeline, an interactive school program, were both created on Carmen's behalf to promate organ donation awareness.
