Don was born during "The Great Depression" was still going, but looking for an end. As you can figure with so many children it is hard to remember the little details of each one's childhood. (Irene Gniech) Don did not like Catholic school or any school for that matter. He did attend Thorpe Vocational High School where he learned woodworking. These educational experiences started Don on a career of cabinet making and roof instillation.
Don married Lolita and they have two girls, Donna and Lodean.
Don and Lolita are grandparents to Johnathon, Kelly and Jessica.
