Ralph Herbert Smith, 1914-1985

Walter N. Smith's son Herbert (grandson of  Simon, great-grandson of Lewis F. Smith) married Goldie Jane Hall in 1912 and had several children. Goldie's parents were Joseph Christian Hall and Ruth McDonald. Her paternal grandmother was Minerva Jane Minnick and her maternal grandparents were Eliza Ann Kendall and Charles W. McDonald.

One of their sons was Ralph Herbert Smith.

this picture was taken in 1975.

compare to the photo of George Elwell Smith from 1958-1960, Ralph's distant cousin. Both were descendants of Lewis F. Smith (1793-between 1850-1870) of Frederick Co. Va.  Lewis F. Smith was their great, great grandfather.
