Dear Dad:

Mom seems to think I should learn about leashes and collars and things, but they seem a bit formal to me. I think it would be a little like wearing a tie all day long, don't you? Maybe I'll get used to it, but I hate to give in without a fight. I'm young, and it seems everyone expects you to rebel some.

Let's see, what else can I tell you? I miss you very much, but it's pretty fun exploring new places and meeting new friends. (Well, when I feel like meeting them, that is. Usually I just stay in my room under the couch when people come over.)

When they leave, and it's just me, Mackie and Mom, then I come back out. Lately, though, I've taken to surprising them every once in a while, and I come out from under while people are actually here! I also tease them by sticking my nose out.

Well, I just finished romping with Mackie and I'm kinda tired. I think I'll take a nap under the couch. Tell sis I said hi!

Love,
Sluggo
